Most of the conditions in the tables below describe the moment an order is placed: a minimum order of 0.01 lot and a maximum of 500, steps of 0.01, a contract size of 100,000 units on an FX major, a stops level of 0, and the fill times recorded on market orders, with near-zero slippage. Two of them describe what happens afterwards. The rollover schedule read from the live server sets which nights an open position is charged and which weekday carries the triple charge — Wednesday — while the account risk levels, a margin call at 10% and a stop-out at 0%, set where a position that has been financed for weeks eventually ends. The useful way to read a specification is therefore in two halves: the fields you meet once, at the click, and the fields that keep working every night the trade is open.

Order rules and account risk

  • Minimum order 0.01 lot and maximum 500 lots, in 0.01-lot steps (0.01 lot = 1,000 units on an FX major).
  • No minimum stop or limit distance (stops level 0) — you can place a stop-loss or take-profit right next to price, which suits scalping and expert advisors.
  • Margin call at 10% and stop-out at 0% margin level, as measured on the Raw+ account — confirm the live levels in your own terminal before risking capital.
  • Contract size 100,000 units per lot on FX majors and 100 oz per lot on gold.

Measured by placing real market orders on the Raw+ account and timing each fill; slippage is the price difference (in points) between the click and the fill, and ‘at price / better / worse’ counts how those fills landed. Small sample (a few round-trips per size) — indicative, last read 2026-06-24.

Fields you meet once, fields you meet every night

A specification reads as one list, but a trade meets it in two stages. Order size limits, the 0.01 step, the digits and the stops level all apply at the click and are finished with the moment the order is accepted. Contract size and tick value keep working, because they are what turns a quoted point into money. The rollover schedule and the risk levels only begin once the position survives its first night.

Sorting the table this way is the quickest test of whether a plan is realistic. Meant to close inside the session, and only the first group applies. Meant to live across value dates, and the total comes out of the second.

What the specification says about the calendar

The rollover fields read from the live FxPro MT5 server are as much a trading condition as the lot step. Quotes and trading run Monday to Friday around the clock; the schedule charges nothing across Saturday and Sunday and charges Wednesday three times over, so a full week amounts to seven days of value collected on five nights.

It follows that two holds of the same length are not automatically the same price. The count of nights is the first input; which weekdays they fell on is the second. The measured per-night figures, and what they add up to over a day, a week and a month, are on our swap rates page.

Where a long hold actually ends

A margin call at 10% and a stop-out at 0% are measured on this account, and they are conditions a long hold walks towards rather than ones it starts from. Each night's charge is applied to the open position, so equity moves while the price stands still; on an instrument with a heavy night that drift belongs in the risk picture rather than in a footnote.

The check before committing to a horizon is the same four figures every time: the one-off from the spreads page, the per-night figure from swap rates, the number of nights from your own plan, and the capital from the margin calculator. The tables here supply the multipliers that join them.

Frequently asked questions

Which trading conditions matter for a position held for weeks?
Two of them. The rollover schedule decides how many times the position is charged and which night is charged triple, and the margin call and stop-out levels, measured here at 10% and 0%, decide where a financed position ends. Contract size matters as well, because it converts a swap quoted in points into cash.
Which night carries the triple charge in the specification?
Wednesday. The live FxPro MT5 server marks Wednesday as the triple-swap weekday for the instruments we measure, so the two weekend days are collected in advance rather than charged while markets are shut.
Do positions accrue swap over the weekend?
There is no charge on the Saturday and Sunday nights in the measured rollover schedule. Over a full week the schedule still amounts to seven days of value, collected across five charging nights.
What is the minimum and maximum trade size at FxPro?
On the measured Raw+ account the minimum order is 0.01 lot and the maximum is 500 lots, in 0.01-lot steps. One standard lot is 100,000 units on an FX major — the figure that turns a swap quoted in points into a cash amount for the night.
How fast does FxPro execute orders?
In our measurements, market orders on EUR/USD filled in about 78 to 83 milliseconds with near-zero slippage and no rejects across the tested sizes. Execution speed is an entry-side property: it changes nothing about a position once it is open.
Does the stops level matter on a long hold?
The measured stops level is 0, so a stop-loss or take-profit can sit right next to the price. On a position held for weeks the level that usually decides the ending is the margin level instead: a margin call at 10% and a stop-out at 0%.
Can the swap rate change while my position is open?
Yes. Swap values are read from the live server and can move from one night to the next, so the conditions checked on the day you opened are not fixed for the whole hold. Our swap rates page carries the last measured long and short figures for each instrument.
